Racecraft 5/8 Bumpsteer Kit

Bump-Steer Kit allows adjustment to the height of the tie rod to eliminate unwanted bump steer when suspension travels. This kit features 5/8" grade 8 hardware and chromoly rod ends paired with our black anodized aluminum bumpsteer sleeves. 

Mustang Manual Rack Options: 

• 2 1/2" Short Length OEM Style Manual Mustang Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used with an OEM rack and pinion (9/16-18 UNF) and the (12") 1" shorter arms.
• 3 1/2" Standard Length OEM style manual Mustang Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for the OEM style manual rack and pinion (9/16-18 UNF) and standard length79-93 (13") lower control arms.
• 4-1/2" Standard Length OEM style manual Mustang Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for the OEM style manual rack and pinion (9/16-18 UNF) and standard length 94-04 (14") lower control arms.

Mustang Power Rack Options: 

• 3 1/2" Standard Length OEM Style Power Mustang Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for 94-Up Mustang OEM style power rack and pinion (14 x 1.5mm UNF) and 1" shorter (13") lower control arms.
• 4 1/2" Standard Length OEM Style Power Mustang Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for 94-Up Mustang OEM style power rack and pinion (14 x 1.5mm UNF) and stock length (14") lower control arms.

Pinto Rack Options

• 2 1/2" Short Length Pinto Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for the pinto rack and pinion (1/2-20 UNF) and (12") 1 shorter lower control arms.
• 3 1/2" Standard Length Pinto Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for the pinto rack and pinion (1/2-20 UNF) and standard length (13") lower control arms.
• 4- 1/2" Standard Length Pinto Rack Bumpsteer Kit is used for the pinto rack and pinion (1/2-20 UNF) and standard length 94-04 (14") lower control arms.
• Standard Length 5 1/2" long 5/8-18 LH x 1/2-20 RH used on 93-02 Camaro/Firebird with standard length arms, Pinto manual rack and pinion, and factory spindles.

*This kit requires that you drill the tapered hole in the steering arm to a 5/8" hole.
